Inbound Data Communication & Firewall Port - LDG

To communicate properly with the Logiks Cloud Components the Logiks Data Gateway needs an external port to be reachable by the Logiks Cloud.

Typically this port is 5052, but it can be defined individually as per your configuration during installation.

The Logiks Cloud will communicate on this Port directly to the instance of the Gateway which you have installed.

This inbound connection is necessary for Real Time communication of Logiks Cloud Components, e.g. for Settings and Configurations, as well as other Applications like Workflow or Warehouse Management Suite which are going to use the Gateway to pull data.

The Access to this port can be limited by using the following IPV4 Subnet (the network traffic so far is based on IPv4 only).

185.73.48.0/22

You will receive legit comminication requests from Logiks Cloud only from this Subnet. All other IP Traffic can be dropped.

Of course you need to consider from which subnet Client Applications for Example Logiks WMS Mobile Client will connect. Those Subnets you need to configure accordingly as well in your local firewall configuration.
