Individual Naming of the Gateway

This user manual will guide you through the process of naming your gateway during installation and editing its name through the Gateway Portal.

Naming Your Gateway During Installation:

1. Download and Run Installer:

   • Download the Logiks Data Gateway installer from our website.

   • Double-click the installer file to run it.

   • Follow the on-screen instructions until you reach the naming step.

2. Naming the Gateway:

   • On the last step of the installation process, you will find an additional field labeled "Name the Gateway."

   • Enter a name for your gateway in this field. Ensure it is unique and descriptive for future reference.

   • The name should be maximum 100 symbols long and can contain numbers and specific symbols.

   • The "Next" button will only be active once the field is filled.

   • Click "Next" to proceed with the installation.

Editing Gateway Name Through Gateway Portal:

1. Accessing Gateway Portal:

   • Once the installation is complete, access the Gateway Portal using your preferred web browser.

   • Enter the provided URL and login credentials to access your account.

2. Viewing Gateway List:

   • Upon logging in, you will see a list of gateways associated with your account.

   • Each gateway will be displayed with its unique name.

3. Editing Gateway Name:

   • To edit the name of your gateway, locate the gateway in the list.

   • Click on the "Edit" icon associated with the gateway.

   • An editable field labeled "Logiks Data Gateway Name" will appear.

   • Enter the new desired name for your gateway.

   • Click "Save" to confirm the changes.
